WRAP UP: February

February has not been good to me - at least when it comes to blogging and reading. I only read 4 books this month ... I'm in such a huge slump, it's killing me. I'm behind on blog posts, commenting (everywhere) and especially on reading. Okay, I'm still "only" 1 book behind schedule right now but ugh, I hate it. I don't know how to fix it though! The problem is not that I don't want to read ... it's more like I'm too "lazy" to even pick up the book and start, you know what I mean? And instead of reading a great book (for example: A Darker Shade of Magic, which I started a week ago) I procrastinate and do other stupid/meaningless things. *siiiigh*

A Monster Calls, Vicious, The Last Wish & Harry Potter 4

  1. Basically me. I am two books behind now. In my defense, Outlander is pretty 'huge', but still. So I'm behind on pretty much everything as well. Maybe it's a february thing?? :)

Really need to read A Monster Calls ASAP!

    1. The Last Wish is actually only something for you if you're into the Witcher videogames or interested in High Fantasy ... it's very different and kinda hard to read actually. Well, it was for me, haha. :D

  3. Ahhh I still want A Monster Calls so badly! But I can't buy it this month because there's other non-bookish stuff I need to pay for. Apparently "but I need to buy books" is not a good excuse for not being able to go out for dinner with friends. Grrrr! lol

  4. I'm behind on everything, too, from reading to blogging to schoolwork to...LIFE. But ahhh Vicious is SUCH a brilliant book, with such intriguing themes and characters. I'm so glad to see you enjoyed it. And I have heard A Monster Calls is really great, so I should probably check that out soon. Happy March! ❤

  6. This is me!! I haven't been reading or blogging either. It's killing me. On the bright side, you read some amazing books this month♥

I was wondering, what camera do you use for taking pics? I'm in love with your photography, you're super talented Yvonne!

    1. At least that. I'm so happy the books I read were amazing, otherwise it would've been EVEN WORSE.

Sorry for the late reply btw!! I use my super old "Fujifilm Finepix S6500fd" - she's old but does a great job, haha. And thank you, sweetie! ♥

I hope March treats you a lot better, Yvonne! :/ Don't pressure yourself with reading and blogging too much - remember that this is a hobby, and you don't need to pressure yourself! :)

    1. So far I have my doubts ... but we'll see. Thank you for the encouraging words, Geraldine! ♥ It's just that I really WANT to read and blog and I feel like if I don't pressure/force myself then I won't do it anytime soon, haha. :D

  8. I hope you'll have a better month in March! :) Try not to stress out about blogging and reading: it's okay if you're behind on it. If you push yourself to read, you might get into a bigger reading slump. I'm sure you're not doing meaningless things, you can do other things like cooking, watching TV, I don't know. Maybe you should take a little break from all of it, you could come back more motivated than ever! :) Maybe you will find THAT one book you really want/need to read and it'll get better!
