WRAP UP: November

24 days until christmas! December might be one of my favorite months of the year, I just love how christmassy everything is. Now I just need some snow in my country (preferably BEFORE christmas!) and everything will be alright! This month was also a pretty good reading month for me! Even though I started with my english-course I managed to read 6 books and I'm pretty happy with that, considering they were all awesome reads and I had lots of fun with them! :)

Cinder, Harry Potter #1, Maybe Someday & Kindle with Nocte - Hired Gun #2 & Legacy Code not included (ebooks)
  1. Hired Gun #2 by A.J. Bennett - ★★★ +0.5
  2. Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone by J.K. Rowling - ★★★
  3. Nocte by Courtney Cole - ★★★★ (★- deserves one more because damn, loved it so much)
  4. Cinder by Marissa Meyer - ★★★
  5. Maybe Someday by Colleen Hoover - ★★★★ (★ - even better!)
  6. Legacy Code by Autumn Kalquist - ★★★ +0.5

  1. I love this time of year too! Which country do you live in? Looks like some great books. I have never read the Harry Potter series.

    1. Have you read the others? I would totally recommend them to you! ;)

Oh, and I live in Vienna (Austria) - what about you? Where are you from?

  2. you couldn't give me a wee run down of Cinder could you?? Everyone is talking about it and I STILL don't quite get what it's about :3 I'm too lazy to google ;) No spoilers mind!!! Something to do with robots a sweet little cindy right? Call me close minded but that sounds a bit.... well. Go on, sell the book to me :D
Anyway, I would just like to say a polite I LOVE YOUR BLOG... I've had a quiet wee creep around it and it really is lovely, the web design is amazing :D You have a follow from me here, on bloglovin and every way I can x

    1. First of all: Thank you so much, awwww! *jumps around happily* ♥ Your blog also looks amazing and I followed you back! And I love the title of your blog! :D

Okay, let me try! Cinder is a retelling of Cinderella (of course) but slightly different ... it's the year 2000-something in New Bejing and Cinder is a cyborg mechanic - the storyline is basically the same, there are stepsisters, a mean stepmother and the prince of course ... but there's also a plague, an entire new species, androids and lots of other cool stuff!

The atmosphere is great, Cinder is badass, sarcastic and so strong ... there's the "losing the shoe" scene which is also different but awesome and I know it sounds a bit ... weird. I thought that too but believe me, it's really, really awesome! Just give it a try! Have you seen my review? Maybe that helps too? :D

I'm actually really terrible at convincing people to read books, haha. I usually only scream: READ THIS, OH MY GOD! IT WAS SO GOOD! :D

    2. Ooo... Well you say you're no good but you've definitely enticed me!!! I'll add it to my Christmas list!! I love a bit of a badass book...
What are you reading at the moment though?? I'm reading the Selection series. I'm on the second book and I'm totally OBSESSED!!
The way I convince people to read books is by thrusting them into their hands and running away and/or talking about the book for MONTHS until they'll read them just to shut me up :3 effective actually.
I'm off to look at your review now :D Thankyou!! - Evie x

    3. Oh, good! You definitely need to let me know when you get/read it! Do you have Goodreads btw? :)

Ah, The Selection! It's on my shelf for a while now and impatiently waits for me to finally pick it up, haha. I guess I have to read it VERY soon then! :D
Oh, and I finished "Champion" by Marie Lu today and now I'll probably start with "Half-Blood" by Jennifer L. Armentrout ... have you read it? JLA is usually amazing, so I expect a lot! ♥

Thank you for taking time to comment - you are awesome! I really appreciate it! ♥
