{REVIEW} Unravel Me by Tahereh Mafi

Title: Unravel Me
Author: Tahereh Mafi
Series: Shatter Me #2
Genre: Young Adult, Dystopia
Publication: February 5th, 2013
Rating: ★★★★★

Juliette has escaped to Omega Point. It is a place for people like her—people with gifts—and it is also the headquarters of the rebel resistance.

She's finally free from The Reestablishment, free from their plan to use her as a weapon, and free to love Adam. But Juliette will never be free from her lethal touch.

Or from Warner, who wants Juliette more than she ever thought possible.

I don't even know where to start! After finishing "Shatter Me" & "Destroy Me" so quickly I was REALLY looking forward to this one and I have to say it didn't disappoint me! THIS BOOK, NO, THIS SERIES IS FABULOUS! FREAKING AMAZING AND I'M IN LOVE WITH IT.

I wasn't so sure about Juliette, at least in the first half of the book. I was getting a little bit annoyed by her ... always whiny and scared and stubborn, it was a bit too much. But once she learned about her strength and that she doesn't need a boy or someone else to rely on, that she's strong enough on her own, well, I really loved her! She was so badass in this book!

"Gone is the boy with the guns and the skeletons in his closet."

Another favorite part were the "interactions" between Juliette and Warner - seriously, I love them so much and I don't know how to breathe while reading their scenes! They were just beautiful and I could imagine them perfectly, especially the end.

I didn't like Adam a lot in this book ... or let's just say what the author did to him. I don't know, everything seemed so weird and to be honest, it annoyed me a little to read Juliette and Adam's conversations about the same things, again and again. I loved them in the first book and I kind of missed them in this one.

"Books are easily destroyed. But words will live as long as people can remember them."

Now let's talk about Kenji and how awesome he is! He's one of my favorite characters in the series and I was so happy to get to know him better! In general I think that the side characters are very, very likeable - I loved the scenes between Kenji and James for example!

I guess I don't need to say that I'm DAMN curious for the last book (and the novella!) Everyone who hasn't read the series yet should definitely check it out. It's definitely worth a read! :)
