Cover reveal/discussion: The Ruby Circle

It's here! The last book of the Bloodlines series by Richelle Mead, The Ruby Circle, finally has a cover! The expected publication date will be the 10th of Feburary 2015, which isn't really that far away. Better for us? I'm not sure if I already want the series to end ... it's been an "ending-series-year" for me and all my beloved books and Bloodlines is only another one added to the list. And yes, that makes me sad!

Title: The Ruby Circle
Author: Richelle Mead
Series: Bloodlines #6
Publication date: February 10th, 2015

Blurb from Goodreads: Sydney Sage is an Alchemist, one of a group of humans who dabble in magic and serve to bridge the worlds of humans and vampires. They protect vampire secrets—and human lives.

After their secret romance is exposed, Sydney and Adrian find themselves facing the wrath of both the Alchemists and the Moroi in this electrifying conclusion to Richelle Mead's New York Times bestselling Bloodlines series. When the life of someone they both love is put on the line, Sydney risks everything to hunt down a deadly former nemesis. Meanwhile, Adrian becomes enmeshed in a puzzle that could hold the key to a shocking secret about spirit magic, a secret that could shake the entire Moroi world.

Richelle: There's no question Silver Shadows ended on a really big note for Sydney and Adrian, but there are still a lot of loose ends for them to tie up. The Ruby Circle will follow them as they chase down that unfinished business while also working on some of the unresolved issues between them personally. What I think a lot of readers are going to like (and what was a lot of fun for me) is that some big questions about characters from the first series are finally brought to light and addressed. Longtime fans are going to be excited to get those mysteries resolved! (source: usatoday)

Now I was probably expecting too much because so far I really liked the covers of the Bloodlines series. They look well together and have pretty colors but honestly? I'm not really sure what to think of the new one. I like the colors but the models/poses just look ... odd? I don't know how to describe it but it seems so unrealistic. Her hair is weird and her head in a very strange-looking position but I don't know, maybe it's just me. Maybe I'll like it the more I see it? But anyway, we all know covers aren't the most important part of a book and I doubt we'll be disappointed by the story. I for myself, already can't wait to read it!

What do you think of the cover? Are you also super excited for the book or maybe sad because the series ends with it? I will definitely miss my Adrian! Let me know in the comments! :)

  1. I like the colors as well but they seem awkward and forced. I don't like these in general, as a series, and if I could I'd totally redesign them. The font is amazing but that is all :L

Thank you for taking time to comment - you are awesome! I really appreciate it! ♥
